I have to admit, he did get too hard to handle. I started with the idea of him, and he sort of spiraled out of control. But it's still my belief that a good super villain should not be able to be defeated by one hero alone. What can I say, when you have a setting as epically expansive as Mass Effect, I am not interested in writing about the adventures of "crewman number 5." I also made it a point to keep him at the same level as the Prophet. The only reason he seemed worse than the Prophet was because throughout the entire course of CNR I knew what the Prophet was and exactly how powerful he was where....you guys didn't, and I made no attempt to hide things about Durandal.
And McGarry tried waaaay to hard to keep up with Durandal.
