Full name of Character: Orlinna VII Cyprus Nona Dstrai Ilste. (Lack of nation name due to there being no nations present on Orlinna). Was nicknamed Sal by pun loving co-workers.

Greatest Weakness: Lack of understanding for non-Salarian/Human cultures.
Soft spot: Big Band music from earth's 1930's.
Biggest Vulnerability: Lacks many combat skills, no ability with hand to hand.

Personal History(what affects them): Formerly an agent in the OPE (Orlinna Protection Examiners), the equivalent of the FBI on his homeworld of Orlinna. Orlinna is primarily a Human/Salarian colony, known in the sector for a minor shipyard with a few Eezo rich asteroids, with a population of Seventeen Million.

As a child he was attacked by a neighboring human family's dog, losing one of his antennae and developing a large scar on his neck.

A large amount of interaction with humans in childhood has led him to adoption of many quirks to Salarians, and he has a tendency to celebrate many of their holidays.

While in the OPE he only participated in a handful of arrests, being mostly relegated to evidence collection and investigation of buried remains. His co-workers, ever in search of humor to brighten their grim profession, nicknamed him "Sal". Once understanding the referential humor to the earth amphibian, he took the name as his preferred name and began referring to his co-workers by various names of mammals from Earth, to their great amusement (Weasel, the IA man, was a bit put off at first before realizing it was merely coincidence). Has fired a shot in anger once, which he was cleared for within a day by IA. Event detailed below.

While investigating a smuggling charge on a freighter, Ilste's team found an airtight compartment to confirm their suspicions. When they opened the compartment, it was discovered that it was not smuggling of illicit materials, but was actually smuggling slaves in stasis. The technician in the compartment attempted to attack with hand tools, and was taken down quickly due to a faulty shield generator in his armor. It is not known which of the four man team's shot killed him.

Traits: Loves a good joke, even going so far as to keeping a pun as his preferred name. Prefers non-electronic tools for digging, only using them to get a general idea of the site itself.
Optimist or pessimist? Dependent on coffee status, but primarily Optimist.
Introvert or extrovert? Depends on Coffee Status.
Drives and motives: Now that the prime of his life is over, his interest is in academia. Transferral of the skills he learned as an agent came easily, and he became an assistant to various digs.
Talents: Trained in shooting pistols, xenoanthropology/archaeology, and some xenobiochemistry. Is often the first to be called whenever a GOOD cup of coffee is necessary.
Character flaws: Physical addiction to Coffee, as one of the oils has a slight Narcotic effect on Salarians, caffeine non-effective. Salarians do not have biochemical knowledge of this, only the knowledge that Caffeine doesn't seem to poison them and the known fact that it affects humans. It is comparative to Nicotine in effect. Fear of dogs due to childhood, and varren as an extension.
