Personal History(what affects them): Nozz'Ivix's biotics are, like for most other Biotic Quarians, a helpful side-effect from an otherwise deadly event. While pregnant with him, his mother was forced to enter an overloading engine room in order to prevent an Eezo leak that would have killed every other quarian on the ship. Miraculously, the pregnant Shara'Ivix vas Moreh survived, and gave birth to a healthy baby 6 months later. His biotics manifested at age 10, as normal among humanoids, but he always showed a great interest in mechanics and engineering, applying his newfound telekinesis to great effect. At age seventeen he left on his pilgrimage, returning shortly after the Idenna incident with the remains of Zha'Til Emperor Klaan'Shreel, advancing the Quarian's cybernetic research considerably, and re-sparking interest in Geth research after it was all but abandoned. Shortly after he joined the Marines as a Combat Engineer. After several successful missions, a reconnaissance mission to an uncharted planet left his squad worse than dead, turned into husks. One of the Quarian military's first encounters with the Collectors. The war against the Reapers followed soon after. With many friends made, and many more lost, the war instilled within the Captain a fear of losing friends, and as such, elected to remain alone after being promoted to captain, running his ship solo, with the aid of his (potentially illegally modified) VI Conglomerate, Andrew. He also has a fondness for the drink, thanks to biotic amps all but negating hangovers.
