What kind of retarded adze cracka muthafugga codes sheiße to remove the gorram swears, and then charges people to get rid of it instead of IMPLEMENT it? If you can't be arsed to create your own go tsao de forum on a server you own, why would you think that they'd pay for merde like this?

Computer programs do exactly what they're programmed to do, EVERY time. This means that they don't have creativity, and therefore can be circumvented. After all, what is a barrier for but to be broken?

Unless the computer programs are made my Microsoft.  Then there is a good chance that they start doing things no one had ever expected!

They still do exactly what they're programmed to do. Just because the code is flawed, doesn't mean that the computer doesn't obey it to the letter.

Universal Translator?

Oh you mean that thing that I choose to ignore the existence of?

In all seriousness: Having a device that can translate EVERY language would be absolutely silly, since most planets would develop a lingua franca before moving on to space colonization. It would make little sense for a translator to know more than each planet's main trading language.

I just headcanon that learning the language of other species is required to travel through space, especially since the Ramen Chef on the Citadel uses occasional Japanese phrases, like Itadakimasu, which means "Let's Eat!"

I don't know, the universal translator is easier to accept than, "everyone in the galaxy speaks english."
